The Oldest City of Pakistan, Uch Sharif.

Uch Sharif is currently a town in Pakistani Punjab, district Bahawalpur with population more than 0.3 million. This city has one of the seven monuments, Bibi Jawindi Tomb, of Pakistan. Uch Sharif is famous for its history that its civilization backs to the times of The Alexander Great. Afterwards its popularity is due to the saints that are buried here. The significant names among them are Syed Jalal u din Surkh Posh, Syed Makhdoom Jahanian, Syed Rajan Qatal, Safi u din Haqqani, Syed Hassan Darya and Mehboob subhani. 

Uch Bukhari, Uch Gillani and Uch Mughlan are three main parts of this small city. These towns show the main political and social neighborhood of the city. Head Punjnad is the important junction of River Sutlej and River Chenab, is 15 Km from Uch Sharif.

Uch is worth visiting place with calm and peaceful environment, delicious food items and manageable travel. Homemade pottery and changair is famous in this city that is exported.
